Tumo 'Most Martial' history
Tumo,
was born under the name of Dea'Mond to a very poor family in the
territory of the green cloud province, named because of it's mountainous
terrain that made the frequent mist look like green clouds.
Being the smallest of the litter Dea'Mond was given away to the maternal patriarch, as she was a shaman. Dea'Mond grew up in the shadow of his much bigger and stronger siblings, they were given whatever the family could afford while Dea'Mond had to fend for himself and seek out his own supplies. He did not grow to be as tall as fer'neko usually get, an average fer'neko grows to be 7 feet tall, Dea'Mond grew to only about 5 feet 9 inches. But developed a massively strong body where most fer'neko are very slim. Being small in a fer'neko village Dea'Mond was always getting picked on. One day he could not take it anymore and he struck back finding that he had demolished two opponents with one blow. After this no one ever bothered Dea'Mond again.
Upon his completion of formal schooling,
Dea'Mond decided to join the
village guard but was refused because of his size. So, he left
to seek
adventure. He traveled to a neighboring town in the valley below.
When he got there, he entered a pub and met a halfling, Delard
of Tres', the two men quickly became friends. Delard was there
seeking a great master of meditation. So Dea'Mond decided to join
Delard in his quest. Having nowhere to stay, it seemed like a
good thing at the time.
They traveled towards the coast following an old shaman trail that lead them to a very small human farming settlement. Upon first glance it looked a bit abandoned and run down, but they noticed villagers peering through windows and doors very frightened. At the center of the settlement, was a well. After so long a journey they decided to fill their canteens and ask around for the whereabouts of the great master. As the neared the well they could see several villagers looking at them and start to leave their homes and approach them.
Dea'mond and Delard were greeted at the center
and told of the great loss of life the town had suffered due to
Bandits and highwaymen. The two men then asked about the master
they were seeking. The villagers said they would tell them if
in return they would go and get
help for the town.
Delard jumped at the chance and Dea'Mond went hesitantly. As they neared the forward edge of the forest they were met by an attack and both fell. Dea'Mond woke and found Delard mortally wounded, and promised Delard he would seek the master. Dea'Mond was devastated, but continued on for a few miles until he blacked out in a clearing.
He awoke in the house of a Sylvan nobleman named Nas,etl and his
wife Thehden. They had a young daughter named Koraleva.
They nursed him back to health where he was able to walk about,
but he was not strong enough to venture out. He healed up from
his wounds, but was scarred throughout his body. He had several
long highly visible scars on his face running from his forehead
to his jaw. He thought himself hideous, but Koraleva did not and
they fell in love.
To help Dea,Mond regain his strength Nasetl taught him the Sylvan Noble Sword (very pinpoint attacks and balanced movements). Dea'Mond practice all day everyday until he was comfortable with it's art form.
