Elections

	The SDC has five elected positions in the council; High Councilor, High Protector, High Explorer, High Benevolence, and High Disciple. These positions can be attained by any clan member whom receives a majority vote from the clan. Clan elections take place in late Fall of each odd Year of the Ascendancy. This translates into every six (RL) months, starting by the third saturday of the last month of the election term and ending by the last day of the election term. If there is a tie vote for a position, a runoff (for the tied candidates) is held for a period of three days.

	High Councilor Other known titles: Clan Lord, Keeper Of The Code, or the Founder's Seat ïAs Chairperson it is the job of the High Councilor to help guide and develop the clan. ïAs with all the council members, the High Councilor has only one vote. ïIn addition to council leadership, it is the job of the High Councilor to: Maintain the clan roster; Oversee the membership committee; Appoint clan positions with the support of the council; and Vote in all council votes.   High Protector Other known title: Leader of the Protector Kinship ïThe High Protector is second in command on the council. ïIs the job of the High Protector to see to the safety of the clan and to Puddleby in general. ïAs a member of the council it is the job of the High Protector to: Organize clan hunts; Vote in all council votes; and Organize the Clan Rescue Teams.   High Explorer Other known title: Leader of the Explorer Kinship ïThe High Explorer is third in command on the council. ïAs a member of the council it is the job of the High Explorer to: Explore the unknown; Provide Scouting reports; Organize the scouting teams; and Vote in all council votes.   High Benevolence Other known title: Leader of the Benevolent Kinship ïThe High Benevolence is fourth in command on the council. ïAs a member of the council it is the job of the High Benevolence to: Encourage communication and organization with in the clan; Help in the settling of clan disputes; Vote in all council votes; and Appoint ambassadors and assistant ambassadors to other clans.   High Disciple Other known title: Representative of the Disciples of the Sun ïAs a member of the council it is the job of the High Disciple to: Assist the other council members in their activities; To evaluate complaints; and To vote in all council votes.
