We hold two hunts. The larger of the two hunts (West Hunt) is held at 10 am Pacific Time on every Saturday.
They start at the SDC House, where the High Protector or an appointed leader will decide where to hold the hunt and then lead the group to their destination.
Everyone is invited to join SDC on these weekly West Hunts.
We have been holding these traditional hunts on (RL) Saturday mornings at 10 am Pacific Time (US). However, recently we've added SDCwatch Internet Time*. We now hold this hunt at @800 on Saturday (Sunday for Far East Asia) during the US Standard Time period (November to April). We call this hunt the SDC West Hunt. This change has shifted the hunt time slightly to about 10:12 am Pacific Standard Time. During US Daylight Savings Time (May to October), the hunt begins at @730 or 10:12 am Pacific Daylight Savings Time.
The tentative start time of the SDC East Hunt is now at @300 on Sunday (Saturday for Western US). We are in the process of deciding a formal time for the East Hunt.
Therefore, our West Hunt times will be Saturday at approximately 10:12 am Pacific Time, 1:12 pm Eastern Time, and 6:12 pm Universal Coordinated Time (UTC)*, 7:12 pm Continental Europe (France/Germany) time, and 10:12 pm Middle East (Oman/UAE) time. For Hong Kong and Japan times, the hunt will be Sunday 2:12 am and 3:12 am, respectively.
Our East Hunt times will be Sunday 1:12 am Eastern Standard Time, and 6:12 am Universal Coordinated Time (UTC)*, 7:12 am Continental Europe (France/Germany) time, 10:12 am Middle East (Oman/UAE) time, 2:12 pm Hong Kong time, and 3:12 pm Japan time. For Pacific Standard Time the East Hunt is held at approximately 10:12 pm Saturday.
The High Protector
In order to coordinate the clan, each member has selected a weekday Talon time (and a weekend Talon time) that they normally will clan. For example a clan member in the US might select Talon 1 while a clan member in Hong Kong might select Talon 3 as their normal clanning time.
