Kinships |

| All individuals who complete the initiation process are welcomed into the clan as "Disciples of the Sun." This group is lead by the High Disciple. After the initiation period, clan members can then choose to join one of the three kinships; Protectors, Explorers, or Benevolents. These kinships are lead by the High Protector, the High Explorer, and the High Benevolence, respectively.
Each kinship is set up for a different type of personality and each works to achieve the clan's goals through different means. Descriptions of the Disciples of the Sun and the three kinships can be found by choosing the appropriate banners below. The Protector, Explorer, or Benevolent kinships have four member rankings, one officer rank and one council rank. The highest rank of these kinships without holding a council seat is the officer title of Knight. The Disciples of the Sun have no ranks associated with its members, only a title for the High Disciple (Grand Knight Disciple). As members of the SDC Council, the kinship leaders work to guide and develop the kinships which make up the whole of the clan. The High Councilor oversees these matters, and assists the kinship leaders in their plans. |

| Each of us has a certain “style” which we enjoy the most. These are reflected in the "Disciples of the Sun" group and the Protector, Explorer, and Benevolent Kinships. The common styles have been summed up in a paper by Richard Barlet entitled: “Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, Spades: Players who suit MUDs”.
